LAURANI: This silver-gold target includes two high grade vein systems called San Geronimo and Tatal Pata which were historically worked as far back as Spanish Colonial times. The property is located 107 km south of La Paz, Bolivia, just a few km west of the main highway between La Paz and Oruro. The geological setting at Laurani has similarities to Newmont Mining Corporation's million plus ounce Kori Kollo gold mine which is located approximately 55 km to the southeast. At Laurani, the mineralized veins and disseminations occur within a large volcanic caldera complex. The two most prominent vein systems extend more than a kilometre each. San Geronimo vein sampling includes values such as 4.6 m@14.3 gpt gold and 214 gpt silver and 2.5 m @ 10.4 gpt Au and 738 gpt Ag. The highest vein intercept is presently 85.1 gpt gold with 100 gpt silver over one metre. The Tatal Pata vein system includes similar values such as 0.65 m @ 4.5 gpt Au and 1,500 gpt Ag.
